VDI TOOL HOLDERS are available with 20MM, 25MM, 30MM, 40MM, 50MM, and 60MM shank sizes. All shanks are precision ground square to the adjacent shoulders.
All TOOL HOLDERS were designed and manufactured in MTA’s plant in Chicago.
All VDI Turning Tool Holders are available in various configurations depending on spindle rotation and whether rear or front turret mounted. Long Turning Tool Holders are generally used on shaft turning lathes.
All VDI Boring Bar / Drill Holders can be converted from external to internal (thru-the-tool) coolant delivery.
All VDI Morse Taper Holders can be converted from external to internal (thru-the-tool) coolant delivery. Morse Taper Holders have full length tapers.
All VDI Collet Holders can be converted from external to internal (thru-the-tool) coolant delivery. For thru-the-tool applications, sealed collets should be used. Collet Holders include an adjustable stop inside the shank and a standard Collet Nut.
